It seems that the FAT table gets all messed up. The config.sys leads me to believe there existed (at one time) a driver (for the hard disk I assume) called IFXDISK.SYS. I have not looked 'into' the machine yet for details on the make and such of the disk drive other than to say the drive is 20meg and the PC is a Monolith XT clone (1982 era). Also the hard disk has been re-formatted a couple of times and there is no sign of viruses.
