The Price Club here in the Washington, DC area has been selling this line of personal computers for the last several months. I am interested in the 386 based machine; PC Positive makes several models beginning with a 286 up to a 486 machine. I had purchased a Packard-Bell 386SX and had real problems with it; I returned the machine and received credit towards another computer purchase. Actually Price Club was very good about it as I had the Packard-Bell for about 4 months; the hard disk has been repaired once and is down again....The color monitor also sucks!! I understand that PC Positive is a California based company; one customer II was able to talk to claims the PC Positive 486 machine is terrible; but the 386 machine is great... Anyone have these PC's???? Earlier posters have noted problems with the Packard-Bell computers...
