On top of what you said, "dir /w c:" on 3.3 will give you a directory listing of drive c: whereas in 4.01, it will give you a directory listing of the current drive ! Somehow, someone decided that in 4.01 that you should say "dir c: /w" instead. :-( I just use 4DOS with 4.01, and either "dir c: /w" or "dir /w c:" works fine. Haven't try the "dir c:\test\" stuff intentionally yet. But if my memory doesn't fail me, it should work. .... Conclusion ??
