Message-ID: <29259@usc> Date: 11 Jan 91 16:57:07 GMT Sender: news@usc Distribution: comp.sys.mac Lines: 15 Nntp-Posting-Host: calvin.usc.edu Is there some way to use the color 16" and 19" Sun console monitors with a Mac 8*24 card (or a GC card)? The monitors are your average (if you can call them average) Sony Trinitrons. I'm not sure what the scan rate is on them (or if its applicable). We tried hooking one up to a GC card using the cable from an Apple portrait monitor, but the colors were off and the screen was rolling. The reason we used that cable is because it was the only one with a DB15 on one end and "The Bizzare Large Monitor Port" on the other. (you know, the kind that have something resembling 3 mini RCA plugs and about 15 normal pin connectors in them) Thanks for the info, -dave.
