But the "idea" of the Energizer bunny isn't just an abrupt intrusion. The bunny isn't cast across a Firestone commercial, or across a Maalox or Tums ad. It is interrupting a "FAKE" ad. The products don't exist - yet (though, a Helga Christmas is exciting :-) ). I agree with the free advertising viewpoint. This is just more exposure.
