Message-ID: <55107@bsu-ucs.uucp> Date: 13 Jan 91 16:50:21 GMT Organization: Ball State University, Muncie, In - Univ. Computing Svc's Lines: 43 Here's a Question about Trustee Rights in Novell 386. All my documentation documents Novell 286 2.15... When doing a call such as _Get_Effective_Dir_Rights how does the returned byte differ from Novell 386.. Here is the bit-Mask for Novell 286 2.15 - 7 - Read 6 - Write 5 - Open 4 - Create 3 - Delete 2 - Parental 1 - Search 0 - Modify Does this translate to the Normal Netware 386 order of rights [SRWCEMFA]?? Meaning that this would be the Bitmask for 386 netware... 7 - Supervisory 6 - Read 5 - Write 4 - Create 3 - Erase 2 - Modify Dir. Entries 1 - File Scan 0 - Access Control? Is this correct, or Do I have the Bits Reversed, or is there even a Byte returned in the call for 386??? Thanks a lot... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Snail -> Steve Gunn | The Indiana Academy | Muncie, Indiana 47306-0655 | S P A C E F O R R E N T USENET -> 00csgunn@bsu-ucs.bsu.edu | Genie -> C.GUNN |
