aha! thanks to everyone who pointed out I should use psroff, not
troff.

So now, I also have QMS (QUIC language) laser printers that I'd like
to use also. I didn't see ditroff, only a PostScript support in the
SGI version. Is there a way to get dvitroff output and a program to
take that to qms (as well as other) printer devices? (perhaps even
a dvi screen previwer for various terminals and X, etc.?)
