His response is that the ALM-1 (Systech MTI) is supported under 4.1 & 4.1.1 on 3/200 and 4/200 series machines. It is *not* supported on 4/300, 4/400, and following machines. If you do decide to run it on your 4/400, keep in mind that the login shells on ALM-1 ports will become a security hole, cuz they'll never receive hangup signals. era@ncar.ucar.edu
