I've converted contool to XView, but I have a problem with the flashing
icons, as this does not work the way it does under SunView (ie. you can't
say xv_set(frame, ICON_IMAGE, icon, 0) in the middle of a program and
expect the icon to change).

If someone could let me know how one changes the icon of a running
OpenWindows/XView program I'll finish the port of Contool.
