Has anyone had any experience of implementing an RS484 Transmission
Protocol on a transputer system? We have to do so in the near 
future and would be grateful of any drivers/hints or other 
information that could be given to help us in this.

We are programming in occam an the transmission is received at our 
end as a channel of BYTE. The transmission is sent from a UNIX 
system (programmed, no doubt, in C).
