Message-ID: <143@dogmelb.dog.oz.au> Date: 9 Jan 91 05:47:46 GMT Followup-To: comp.text.tex Organization: CSIRO Division of Geomechanics Australia Lines: 20 Within the LaTeX manual by Leslie Lamport, all or most of the examples are done is a two column format, using typewriter style on the left and bold on the right, extending into the margin AWAY from the book binding. Does anyone know how, or have a macro/example of this being done? I can easily get two columns, via the twocolumn macro or using parbox/minipage, but I cannot get LaTeX to release the margin within a small vertical space. If I breach the margin, I get a plethora of warnings, and I cannot control which margin gets breached (Ie, its always the right side margin) Cheers -- David. -- Email: david@dogmelb.dog@munnari.oz | Division of Geomechanics, TEL.
