I am having problems ftp'ing moderate sized files (100k) from a RS
6000. I am able to put files to the RS and get files to the RS but am
unable to get files from it or put files from it. Sometimes ftp just
seems to get stuck sometimes it says broken pipe. Very small files
work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Possibly related: When I tried to mail a large file it never arrived,
small one did.
