Message-ID: <925@tuura.UUCP> Date: 13 Jan 91 14:14:43 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Nokia Data Systems Oy Lines: 20 Hi there. I have a problem. I have 150MB SCSI-streamer under a 2.3.2GT and I am trying to write with it 60MB tape format. It is possible when I use tar-command, but cpio command doesn't include any options about the tape density. It is possible, if I can make a device for a streamer, which tells to the opsys and streamer to use 60MB tape format. But how I can make such kind a device? Any idea, about major and minor numbers? Any other solutions? -- --------------------------------------------------------------- Matti Joutkoski, mattij@yj.data.nokia.fi, tel. + 358-0-5673866. ---------------------------------------------------------------
