I have a situation where I have 12 MB of real memory, an 8MB perm. swap file, and the "about" box shows 11.5MB of free memory (8 MB swap + 3.5 MB real) and 3% Free System Resources. Trying to bring up Excel gives an "out of memory" type message. I assume this really means "out of System Resources". What are they and how do I get more? (The above "in use" and "free" memory numbers are also confirmed via HDC's Memory Viewer) Any ideas?? Scott Ksander Purdue University Computing Center ksander@purdue.edu
