This essentially makes it impossible for developers or, more important, users, to defeat this behaviour via resources. Which seems to me like a pretty gross violation of motif principles. Also, it's sort of awful in practical terms, since repositiong a sash using the up & down arrows is slow & awkward. Also, it slows people down in tabbing to places where keyboard stuff is really useful, like big complicated lists. This should be fixed, I think. Tim Bray tbray@watsol.waterloo.edu
