Our company has recently received the OSF/Motif 1.1 Source License 
agreements and are considering their purchase. I gather that the 
initial purchase price is $1000 (US$) for the license and then an 
additional $1500 for the Technology Serice Agreement 
(which is an annual payment).

We are currently using the ICS Motif implementation which is 
a Motif 1.0 version, binaries only. 

Would anyone be able to offer advice on whether the purchase of
source and frequent updates (how often are they ?) from OSF
is better than binaries only from an independent. Are there
likely to be any hassles compiling etc on the Sun ?

Any comments from OSF or vendors welcome.
