Big controversy between the American >Dental Association (who has declared removing amalgam fillings a breach of >dental ethics!!!) and internists/diagnosticians who are convinced on >clinical if not statistical evidence that amalgam should definitly be pulled >out and replaced. Anybody heard anything about this? >issue? >harry I think it's mostly hype. It's been going on for quite awhile now. I bet if they did a MRI the plaches would still be there etc. My wife has sufferd from MS for over 20+ years. She had crowns put on all teeth because of reflux wearing off the tooth enamel this procedure removes every filling she had did she get better NO! The removing was not a breach of meical ethics if the patient insisted only if the dentist first suggested it. It might work on some cases but I don't think it's the cure all it's claimed. I wish it were. It might make a lot of dentists rich though.
