is it possible to train a speech synthesizer to recognize shorthand for 
terms?  Are there speech synthesizer "macros".  Is it oossible to train a 
speech synthesizer to learn that (V) means a hug for someone whose name 
starts with V?  And that ((V)) means two hugs?
