yes, OHIP is a health care provider, but originally in the 60's
when it was started, it was an insurance plan, but made available
to every one.  There are flaws in it, as there is no limit to it's
cost, unless the government refuses to pay for increase in the
number of bed in use, or new equipment.  cheers, J.p.
