well my wife annie and i are both hams.  n6ikc and n6mtn and are
both generals.  we are firmly apposed to this "waver".  i must
admit it took me 3 times to pass the 13 wpm test but i sweated and
worked hard to do this.  the deaf can use transponders and others
can merely comprehend the code since sending is not necessary.  it
is just another step in lowering the ham hobby to citizens band
status, yuk!  dan, too blind to be vain!

i must correct something here, i meant "transducers" not
"transponders".. hi hi
