Reflections was a lot of work and even with eye balls, we had trouble. I used the Printer Voice in Artic to capture what came to the screen. However, if anything on the screen changed or updated after the original screen write, the speech would not work. Now I know Artic will indeed notifyyou of a status line that changes, however, in this case, the data on the screen that changes is not always in the same place. The people at SmartTerm assured me that their program worked like CrossTalk, but was a more true VT220 emulation. If CrossTalk did a better job of emulating the VT220, I'd just stay with it cause it talks fine and in most of the cases is getting the job done for me. I expect the new software to arrive just after Christmas and I'll let you know how things go. Reflections II is a big program that does a lot more than I need for this application. You should see the box of books that comes with it. The Customer Support that I mentioned is a big concern. They were really helpful and willing to work with you when you got them on the phone, but getting a shot at talking to them was difficult. If everyone could have the kind of technical support offered by WordPerfect, it would be great. I guess I'm kinda impatient, cause when I need help, I need it now and not one or two days later. Chat at ya soon. Steve -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!291!6!Steve.Bauer Internet: Steve.Bauer@f6.n291.z1.fidonet.org
