I've just used it on packet. I've permanently configured things at 1200 n81. Right now, I have 2-meters and I have yet to configure the other modes. There is a local rtty net on the 145.11 repeater and I'll need to go through my disk manuals for configuration parameters for that mode. To use the braille'n speak with a TNC or any other modem so far as braille'n speak is concerned, just connect a null modem adapter either the one they have, or a tweedeledump so you can hear data between the two devices. If the TNC starts in the autobaud mode, just hit dots 16 the star key to shut that mode off. By the way, the at sign is dot 4 in computer braille. Speaking of pnemonic phonetics, mine are King Kong's Third Foot. 73- KK3F @ dca6 @ n4QQ. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!109!304!Patrick.Gormley Internet: Patrick.Gormley@f304.n109.z1.fidonet.org
