Here, I have a s5r3.2.0 386/ix 202 unix box that SUPPOSEDLY can deal with the infamous setuid stuff, but it really couldn't, I went back and redid the build run and said that it had a broken setuid syscall and it very nicely built a small setuid-root program to deal with the "broken" syscall. This "setnewsids" program is just the place to stick in a call to ulimit for system 5 (in fact, there is one there anyway!) the only problem on this machine was that the ulimit set there was too low. -- Gregory G.
