Austin, Tx Lines: 14 I am looking for documentation/manufacturer/prime contractor on the LLWAS system. That stands for Low-level Windshear Alert System. LLWAS data towers are located in a giant ring around selected airports (here in Austin for example). The LLWAS towers time share 162.325 MHz and transmit low speed digital telemetry to the airport tower (or somewhere!). A simple DSP modem could decode this stuff easily...I just need to know the modulation format and more importantly the DATA format. Any info would be appreciated! -Charlie Thompson WB4HVD
