Three bandoleers with seven clips each. Each clip with 20 rounds. Magazine is a better word. On a diagonal deck carrier you can launch planes off the front and land them at the back, but when landing in peace time (my only expericnce) everone is such a nervous wreck that they kept the deck very clean. There were only three on the deck when a plane was landing and the previously landed plane was gotten off the flight deck onto the hanger deck as rapidly as possible. Chuck
