The organisaion runs tree planting projects for which trees are provided by a number of growers. Growers maintain a number of different species of trees for a variety of projects in a number of holding areas. The trees are grown from seed and must be ready for planting on the project date. This information needs to be maintained so that forward planning can be carried out on a 12 month, 24 month, etc. basis and monthly stock takes can be performed. It should also be possible to work back from planting times to calculate the date that seed should be planted for a particular species of tree. The tracking of seed source is also important, so that information on seed suppliers needs to be maintained. The software should preferably run on a PC under DOS. If anyone knows of a package that might me suitable for this purpose, please let me know. Many thanks, Greg
