A couple of days ago Tracy Mallory mentioned that
I had a method of assigning subnet numbers prevents
one from having to determine in advance where the
subnet/host boundary goes.  Well, I do, and it has
been submitted to become an internet draft, shortly
after which it will be an rfc.

Anyway, if people are interested, I have made it
available via anonymous ftp on thumper.bellcore.com:subnet.
I'd love any improvements you might suggest.
