When ever I try to dial a directory entry the DTR and CTS lights flash off and on and rbcomm comes back with: : MODEM NOT RESPONDING. or something very similar. Also when I dial by hand (atdt#) the modem dials and connects and I get the same MODEM NOT RESPONDING message. The big gatcha is that rbcomm 3.01 works very well for me. The vital statistics are: 9600 v.32 modem (Cermetex SPECTRUM 9600, Hayes compatable) on COM2. I've checked the interupts and IO Base and all seems to be fine there. kenny. -- -- Kenny Goers Minnesota Supercomputer Center kenny@msc.edu -- -- Kenny Goers Minnesota Supercomputer Center kenny@msc.edu
