I would like to write software that is network-compatible, but unfortunately I don't have access to a PC LAN. So what I want is a program or set of programs that will do network stuff over a null modem cable to another computer. I want it to do full DOS network pathnames, etc (network printers are optional). Device drivers that just create extra drives by re-routing requests to the other machine just won't cut it. Full file sharing and other permissions would be VERY nice. If anyone knows of such a beast (shareware or public domain preferably), could they let me know via e-mail, and I'll summarise at a later time.
