Can someone point me to recent work on grid files? - algorithms, analyses,
implementations?  The original paper (somebody's bound to ask) is by
Nievergelt, Hinterberger and Sevcik, in ACM Transactions on Database
Systems vol 9 no 1, March 1984.  I'm particularly interested in extensions
to the model to handle more dimensions than the 10-odd they envisaged.
