The first relevant fact is that _Unix_ transaction monitors in general, and Tuxedo/T in particular, have only begun to penetrate the Unix OLTP market. Thus, the base of end user commercial customers today is somewhat limited. >There is a company called Independence Technologies Inc. The combination product ITI, Tuxedo/T 4.1, and Oracle will be available on HP's series 800 systems very soon (1Q91). The same combination with Informix will be available 2Q91. There are also plans to provide ITI/Tuxedo on the HP 9000-1240 Fault Tolerant computer. ITI's phone number, which might be a reasonable source of info about Tuxedo/T, particularly on those platforms which they have ported to, is (415) 438-2000. AT&T, who developed Tuxedo, also actively markets the product and may well provide customer references. Dan Hepner Not a statement of the Hewlett Packard Company.
