  I need to find a database design tool in which
  the user :
	
	1) Specifies a model of the database
		 ( i.e. Entity / Relationship methodology 
			or other data driven methodologies   )

  And

	2) Specifies database threads ( transactions )
	   that will be executed.


  ** Also, is there anything out there ( or being developed )
  that can help predict performance of distributed, 
  heterogeneous databases before actually implementing them ?

  If so, then : 
   
	1) What information is needed from the user to predict
	   performance ?

    2) How is performance measured ?


  If there is any tool out there which claims to perform 
  some of the tasks I descibed, I would greatly appreciate
  hearing about it. If you cannot reach me directly, please
