When I was cathcing up on my reading over the Christmas break,
I thought I read an article in on of the many rags I get that
stated that one of the standards bodies was considering some
changes to the v.32 standard. The article stated that the changes
whould not affect current hardware but could cause vendors to
modify the software in current v.32 modems to make them compliant.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? AM I out in left field here?
A quick scan through the rags I kept didn't turn up the article
and of course now someone else is interested in this info.
