The article stated that the changes whould not affect current hardware but could cause vendors to modify the software in current v.32 modems to make them compliant. Does this ring a bell with anyone? AM I out in left field here? A quick scan through the rags I kept didn't turn up the article and of course now someone else is interested in this info.
