We are looking at a 80386-based system with some sort of graphics board that would provide a signal suitable for a VHS or broadcast-quality recorder. What features should we be looking for in such a board? Note that we don't need fancy features like chroma keying or frame grabbing - we would get professionals to do the editing for us. We just need to get our images onto the video tape. If you know of any boards that will do this, please let me know. Our budget is around $1000 - $2000. Alternatively, if you think we should be looking at different hardware platforms, I would be interested in hearing why. All suggestions will be considered.
