I am looking for a good basic text on the theory and authoring
of Macro Assemblers.  I have several texts on writing compilers
but the need for my current project is a Macro Assembler.

I am also led to understand that there are several products that
are assembler frameworks.  

Any reply via 'r' would be MUCH appreciated.
