This is just a message of thanks to all the people who responded to my
qestion about the IMSL routine LINV1P.  I've got the info I need and am
writing my own version presently.  Once again the net has connected me 
with manuals I don't have.  There were so many replies I decided to thank
you all via news instead of private mailings.
