Beware, I'm considering putting you in my kill file! (Is a smiley necessary?) I think the summary of this argument looks something like: Only good programmers should use gotos when they have to. Beginners should not use them until they have mastered their trade. I think you can all draw good parallels here (such as learners only riding small cc motorbikes etc.) that make the whole argument actually make sense.
