Lines: 17 Someone in my department has alleged that HSPICE (?Meta-Software, Inc, Campbell, CA (408) 371-5100?) has better convergent properties and more features than SPICE3D2 (recently released by Berkeley). SPICE3D2 source code is available for a Materials/Handling fee of $250 from Berkeley. HSPICE is $1000/yr per machine architecture at University discount price. Would someone in the know please comment? Comparison of graphics capabilities would be helpful also. Thank you.
