Service unavailable Giza (one of the systems which does gateway work for CServe) was upgraded this past Sunday, and I managed to miss one of the more important bits of the mail system in the process. It was fixed less than 10 minutes after multi-user reboot after otherwise having completed the upgrade. Your mail managed to get bitten in that 10-minute window.
