Obviously this must be the same method used by the delivery agent! The spool file is '/usr/spool/mail/$LOGNAME'. I tried using the fcntl system, but mail happily delivers to the file regardless! There does not seem to be any use of a '$LOGNAME.lck' file in the spool directory. Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
