Unlike other kind of drives,such as CD-ROM and WORM, MO drives let you write data as well as read it,as hard disk drives . Most of MO drives use (perhaps all?) scsi i/f. Anyway about MO,perhaps you can find subjects on comp.prephs.scsi. I use Sony,Ricoh and Maxtor drives now.
