More precisely, Usenix *tries* to hold its winter conference in the same place and time as Uniforum, because Usenix attendees value being able to attend the Uniforum trade show as well. There have been joint conferences once or twice, but in recent times the "sharing" has been limited to free Uniforum trade-show admissions for Usenix attendees.
