Lines: 36 Yesterday I installed MacMinix on my 2MB MacPlus. *THANK YOU* Joe Pickert for the "10 Easy Steps to Macintosh Hard Disk Nirvana" - the pain you saved me... (And, thank you for MacMinix!) So for my first project, I decided to install Clam which I scarfed from plains.nodak.edu. I had to make a couple of changes to the files (which I will post as soon as clam works) to get a clean compile and link. Howsumever, clam exits prematurely with an unhelpful message "assert failed in lib/malloc.c" and core dumps. So, (1) What do I do with a core dump? No adb. No sdb. No mdb. Find "*debug*" and "*dbg*" are silent. "*db*" returns matches against "badblocks". That leads to the following question, (2) How does one debug in MacMinix? (No, no, not printf... please.) Now, I know that I can compile clam with debugging turned on, but I'd rather not. (Understandable, nah?) Finally, as a last resort, (3) Are there some ftp sites with a clam which will compile with ACK on MacMinix? Thanks. -- Vladimir -- ============================================================================== Vladimir G.
