Several people responded to my query for reviews of low-end OCR software
for the PC.  They all referred me to the October 30, 1990 issue of
PC Magazine, which reviews ten software-only packages all over the price
spectrum.  There are several packages which have come out since then,
but the information was very helpful.  Thank you.  (There was an article
in the December 1990 Computer Shopper, which was not so helpful)
