I, though being in Europe, agree with Peter Highnam about the fact that
a lot of potential discussion will be cut off if the distribution
is restricted to Europe only.

I think the topics mentioned in the proposal are of world wide
interest. We could maybe vote for a European moderator of
postings from here, but a Europe-only news group in this
area is, in my oppinion, just a lot of waste.
