I have MSC 5.1 and the PCNFS Programmer's Toolkit. Is it possible to write a TSR that monitors a socket and responds to traffic at that socket? I know that MSDOS isn't reenterant, but I can still hope. This TSR would need to coexist with application programs (network blind numerical analysis packages). Please email your responses. I'll post a summary if asked. Code would be way cool if you can share it with me.
