I would like to create a command file for FTP in inside the command procedure on a temporary file (with a "unique" name) and pass it to FTP. I have tried putting the 'commandfile' command on the FTP command line with little success. I cannot get FTP to pick up the username and password properly. Putting the 'commandfile' command in FTP's regular input (ie in a line right after the FTP line) will not work, since I want to pass the file name in a logical. I would like to be able to execute something like: FTP commandfile 'ftpcommands' rather than $ FTP -n hostname username password commandfile filename.txt THanks for your help Chris Tanner TANNERC@CRL.AECL.CA AECL Research
