    At Interop '90 there was a small "Solutions Showcase (tm) Demonstration"
    on PPP.  It had ... and Telebit, INTERACTIVE, and Xylogics communicating
    at 9.6K and 19.2K bps asynchronous....

We had PPP code there, but not all implementations interoperated as of that
date.  The list of implementations that I know to interoperate is larger now,
but I'd still recommend "try before you buy".
