Lines: 16 We recently worked out a deal to install a 19.2kb dedicated line between nstar.rn.com and another site 160 miles away - and plan to run SLIP over this connection. Both ends will be running Interactive Unix 386 release 2.21 - and we are at a loss as to what type of modems to place on each end. V.32 was our original idea - but now that V.32bis is out - we are thinking about using V.32bis which should increase the throughput. Any comments or feedback would be most welcome. -- Larry Snyder, NSTAR Public Access Unix 219-289-0282 (HST/PEP/V.32/v.42bis) regional UUCP mapping coordinator {larry@nstar.rn.com, ..!uunet!nstar!larry, larry%nstar@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu}
