There's been disagreement about something I felt was pretty straightforward, so I am polling people who actually use extended Ascii. Send e-mail to the reply-to address above (not the list) answering the following, and I'll summarize it later if people wish. 1. Which character mapping(s) are your extended-Ascii applications using: US-style IBM PC, non-US IBM PC, 8859-1 (ISO Latin 1), other 8859 variant, something else? 2. Where did you obtain these applications: Operating system vendor, other commercial software product, shareware developed elsewhere, locally developed? 3.
